Black Eyed Peas Unveil Dates For Headlining Trek, Tap Pussycat Dolls As Openers

34-date tour launches March 23 in Fresno, California, winds down May 21 in Denver.

You can't keep the Peas down for long.

Just two and a half months after wrapping up Gwen's Harajuku Lovers Tour (see [article id="1504735"]"Gwen Stefani To Launch Tour In October, With Black Eyed Peas In Tow"[/article]), the Black Eyed Peas are readying their own major headlining trek this spring.

The hip-hop dynamos have finalized the itinerary for the 2006 Honda Civic Tour, which will support their multiplatinum Monkey Business (see [article id="1519905"]"Black Eyed Peas Headlining Next Honda Civic Tour"[/article]). The 34-date trek will launch March 23 in Fresno, California, and wind down May 21 in Denver.

The Pussycat Dolls have been tapped as the Peas' main openers, with additional supporting acts to be announced shortly.

Tickets for the trek will be made available on February 17, but fans can log on to the HondaCivicTour.com to gain access to pre-sale tickets starting February 15.

Meanwhile the Peas are up for four Grammy Awards come February 8 (see [article id="1517699"]"Mariah Carey, Kanye West, John Legend Lead Grammy Nominees"[/article]). That includes Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal ("Don't Lie"); Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Rap Song ("Don't Phunk With My Heart"); and Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals ("Gone Going" featuring Jack Johnson; see [article id="1522681"]"Jack Johnson On Grammy Nom: 'I Feel Pretty Out Of My League' "[/article]).
