Moody synth-rockers Depeche Mode will announce the dates for a European tour in support of their upcoming, two-CD singles collection (October) on Monday. The press conference to announce the tour, which is currently scheduled to last from early September to late October, will take place at the Hyatt Hotel in Cologne, Germany. No U.S. dates will be announced at the press conference, although the band is expected to unveil late 1998 U.S. dates soon. The still-untitled singles collection is expected to contain at least one new track. Depeche Mode have not mounted a full-scale tour since 1993-4.
