Goldfinger is John Feldman on Vocals and Guitar. Charlie Paulson on

Guitar. Simon Williams on Bass and "Dangerous" Darrin Pfeiffer on

Drums. John Feldman described the recording sessions like this:

"Being in the studio is so weird for us. We're definitely a live

band. We're all about playing and getting that immediate response,

whether it's f*ck You! or You Guys Rule!

"Goldfinger's lyrics are sinisterly hilarious; they can turn obvious

subjects like relationships and life in general into twisted and

amusing works of art." Feldman says he usually sticks close to

home for his inspiration: "I'm not a fiction writer. I shouldn't say

I never write fiction, but everything so far has been about getting

dumped by chicks."

Hey, what do you listen to and (for Feldman), what kind of guitar is

that in the CD??

GOLDFINGER

I listen to a lot of Elvis Costello, and The Police. We are into the Buzzcocks. We are going to tour with the SEX PISTOLS who were a big influence. Also KISS. We are playing some dates with them in LA. The

guitar is called a "Bernie" its made by Fernandez. I have a black and purple one, both with Bad Religion stickers!

How did you get your name?

GOLDFINGER

From a James Bond Movie. We wanted to name it after a movie, and we were

going to call ourselves Pretty In Pink, but decided on Goldfinger. We

thought Goldfinger was a SHAFT movie.

GOLDFINGER

He uses Pearl drums and Zjigin symbols.

GOLDFINGER

John says, we have been together for two years and we definitely haven't

made it big. What does make it big mean?

Uhhhhh!!! Listen to the Beatles and The Buzzcocks. Quit smoking pot, take

lots of showers and pet lots of dogs and never give up man!!

Northeast in June and July with No Doubt. And then The Buzzcocks and August

with Bad Religion.

Less Than Jake rules. We are not a Ska band, but we think they are a great

Definitely. A lot of writers can write fiction, but not me (John).

Both, but mainly pop.

Winger, Dokken, Exodus, Van Hagar, LA Guns... Ha ha ha ha.

I haven't seen the video, what is it like?

GOLDFINGER

It's really lo-fi, done by two of my best friends. It's really manic

looking and has a ska look.

All the songs on the album are about chicks being freaks, so we have a space

alien chick on the cover.

Georgia chose us. There is a huge ska following in Augusta, GA.
