Wu-Tang Clan Reunion Show To Spawn Live CD, DVD

How many members will show up, however, is up for debate.

The Wu-Tang Clan are close to raising their almighty "W" symbol to the skies, sounding the call for a reunion once again, and the Staten Island, New York, rap collective plans to celebrate by releasing a new album on September 28 and a DVD on October 12.

Both the CD and DVD will be a live recording of their concert on Saturday at the Rock the Bells festival in San Bernardino, California, billed as the first Stateside show with all the original members since 2000.

A cloud of skepticism, though, hovers over the show, based on past Wu attempts at organizing reunions (see [article id="1480582"]"Wu-Tang Clan To Release Book, Could Possibly Launch Tour"[/article]). Wu-Tang Clan shows in Europe this past week had everyone except Method Man and ODB representing.

Both the CD and DVD are without an official title and will be released on Sanctuary Records. A representative for the label said all members of the Clan are expected at this weekend's show.
