Omarion In Talks For Role In 'Fat Albert' Movie

Former B2K frontman also appearing in Halloween horror film

Former B2K frontman Omarion is in discussions with 20th Century Fox to appear in the forthcoming "Fat Albert" movie as Fat Albert's friend Bill, according to a source close to the deal.

The singer makes his big-screen debut in "You Got Served," due in theaters Friday and starring Marques Houston and Steve Harvey.

In addition to putting the final touches on his solo debut -- due this summer on Epic, according to the label -- he's also set to begin shooting the horror film "Crazy House" in March. Due out on Halloween, the film also stars Houston, who is being considered for the Mushmouth role in "Fat Albert." Kenan Thompson, of "Kenan & Kel," is up for the role of the fat man himself, according to the source.

During a visit to "TRL," Omarion said his still-untitled solo album will address some of the events of the past couple of months, including his departure from B2K (see [article id="1484606"]"Brandy's Brother Joining B2K, Group's Business Partners Say"[/article]).

When asked for his thoughts on news that Ray J, Brandy's brother, would replace him as frontman of the group, Omarion said, "That's a surprise to me. I thought everybody was gonna do their solo things."
