Mary J. Blige, G-Unit Cuts On 'Barbershop 2' Soundtrack

Sleepy Brown, Mya, Chingy, Mobb Deep and others also on CD.

Where can you debate sports, politics and music, find out who's creeping with whom and still come out looking fresh to def in under an hour? The barbershop, of course.

The Hollywood branch opens again with the upcoming release of "Barbershop 2: Back in Business," and well-groomed acts such as G-Unit, Chingy, Mya, Clipse and D12 will throw in their two cents' worth on the soundtrack album.

We've already heard Mary J. Blige and Eve lament men's wandering eyes (and other body parts) on "Not Today," the Dr. Dre-produced lead cut. But it's nothing but love on the G-Unit's "Unconditionally," where they brag about knowing how to treat women. Sleepy Brown finally stars on a track with "I Can't Wait," where he sings, "This is for the lovers." As always, the hookmeister most recently heard on Big Boi's "The Way You Move" has Outkast by his side, chiming in raps.

Avant and Keke Wyatt rekindle their lyrical flames on "Precious Love," a remake of the Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell classic "Your Precious Love," written by Ashford and Simpson. Mya sings about -- you guessed it -- falling in love on the "Fallen" remix as Chingy brags about putting the petite songstress in a mansion. D12, sans raps or Eminem production, tone down their humor but still crack a few funnies on the album's title track.

3LW and Mobb Deep also appear on the "Barbershop 2" soundtrack.

"I Can't Wait" has been tapped as the next single, and Sleepy Brown and his ATLien cohorts will shoot the video this weekend in Los Angeles. The film hits theaters February 6 and the soundtrack drops February 3.
