Hilary proved she was "Duff" enough to dethrone the queen of hip-hop soul from the top of next week's Billboard albums chart.

After its second week in stores, the teen sensation's album, Metamorphosis, will take a step forward from the #2 spot, a rare feat in the chart world, and sit above every other album currently available. The single "So Yesterday," coupled with loads of media coverage, helped the album move more than 130,000 copies last week, according to SoundScan, for a two-week total of more than 334,000 copies.

The soundtrack to Duff's "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" will also make progress, taking three steps to #15 while holding its weekly sales at roughly 45,000 copies.

On the heels of her #1 debut, Mary J. Blige's Love & Life will take second place with more than 108,000 copies in weekly sales. Blige's sixth album has Duff beat in total sales, however, amassing more than 395,000 copies.

Big gains were made by albums from Beyoncé and Sean Paul, thanks to their omnipresent single, "Baby Boy." Beyoncé's Dangerously in Love will move ahead two places to #4, thanks to a sales surge of nearly 10,000 copies. The singer's solo voyage moved more than 87,000 copies for a 1.3 million total.

Sean Paul's Dutty Rock was reissued last week with "Baby Boy" as a bonus track, allowing the revised LP to jump 13 spots to #18, the largest leap made by any album in the top 40, equaling the progress made by gospel group Mercy Me's Almost There, which will make a move from #50 to #37. But where Dutty Rock has a 7,000-copy increase to show for its stride, Almost There's total sales were only lifted by 2,000.

Still reaping the benefits of its three-for-three sweeps at the VMAs, Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head will move up two spots to #8 by selling more than 64,000 copies, 3,000 more than the week before.

Alan Jackson's Greatest Hits Volume II will move up one spot to #3 (more than 106,000 in weekly sales), Evanescence's Fallen will take two steps up to #5 (81,000); The Neptunes Present ... Clones will move down three pegs to #6 (80,000); Chingy's Jackpot will cash in at #7 (67,000), a two-spot improvement from last week; the "Bad Boys II" soundtrack will slip one place to #9 (62,000); and 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin' will reenter the top 10 after a four-week absence at #10, earning 60,000 in sales, to round out the chart's top 5 percent.

It's all about the crunk, as Lil Jon can attest. He and the Eastside Boyz's third album, Kings of Crunk, will take its highest chart placement yet at #14. The Atlanta trio's album, released in October, reentered the top 40 seven weeks ago, and has made steady progress since, give or take an off-week. After 45 weeks on sale, the album has just cracked the 1-million mark.

Neo-shoe-gazers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's second album will come in at #47; the soundtrack to "Underworld," featuring new tracks by Tool/ A Perfect Circle's Maynard James Keenan and Nine Inch Nails' Danny Lohner, at #55; and Danish garage rockers the Raveonettes' Chain Gang of Love at #123.
