Master P Arrested For Carrying 'Cop-Killers'

No Limit boss nabbed at Newark International Airport for possessing illegal hollow-tip bullets.

Master P was arrested on ammunition charges at Newark International Airport in Newark, New Jersey, on Tuesday night.

The New No Limit boss, whose real name is Percy Miller, was preparing to board an America West flight to Los Angeles when he tried to check in a legally registered handgun with Transportation Safety Administration officers. But upon inspecting the weapon, a police spokesperson said, officials found a separate magazine clip containing eight hollow-tip bullets, known as "cop-killers" or "dum-dums." The lethal bullets are illegal in many states, including New Jersey.

Master P was questioned on site and then arrested by Port Authority police officers for illegal use of ammunition, a third-degree felony. He was taken to Union County Jail and released a short time later on his own recognizance. According to the police spokesperson, he was fully cooperative throughout the entire process.

The rap entrepreneur was issued a summons to appear in Union County court on June 20, where he could face anything from probation to a year and a half in jail.
