Bone Thugs Go To Europe To Get Phil Collins For Video

Rap group's 'Home' features sample from his hit 'Take Me Home.'

What do you do when your rap group is on its fifth album and in need of a little mid-career boost?

If you're Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, you fly to a neutral European country and wake a sleeping pop giant for a video cameo (see [article id="1457671"]"Bone Thugs Favor Phil Collins Over 3LW For New Video"[/article]).

Last week the group shot a clip for Thug World Order's "Home," which features a sample of Phil Collins' 1985 hit "Take Me Home," and managed to talk the soft-rock icon into a special appearance -- on one condition. Layzie, Krayzie, Bizzy and Wish Bone had to move the shoot to Geneva, where the Collins clan is celebrating the holidays.

In the clip, directed by Darren Grant (Destiny's Child, Jewel), the long-haired Cleveland rhymers are touring Europe and feeling homesick when a spiritual guide, played by Collins, appears to remind them of the many things they should be thankful for. The song and the video will be released in late January.
