Speaking of Lemmy, Motörhead are releasing a 25th anniversary DVD, "25 & Alive 'Boneshaker': Live at Brixton Academy," on September 3, which includes a 23-song concert and guest performances from Brian May of Queen and Whitfield Crane of Ugly Kid Joe. Jack Johnson will be calling the road his home for a little longer, as he recently added another set of dates to his continuing tour, according to Pollstar. The new gigs will begin on October 10 in Santa Barbara, California, after a two-month break, and will continue until October 22 in Denver, with G. Love & Special Sauce joining the tour October 10-13 and October 18. ... R&B singers Kelly Price, whose Priceless is due August 13, will join Glenn Lewis and Dave Hollister on the Hennessy Privilege Music Tour in September. Details of the 10-date outing will be announced next month. ... The release date for Tori Amos' sixth studio album, Scarlet's Walk, has been pushed back from October 15 to October 29. ...
Farm Aid is bringing its annual benefit concert to the Northeast for the first time this year on September 21 at the Post-Gazette Pavilion in Pittsburgh. So far Dave Matthews Band, John Mellencamp and Neil Young have signed on for the concert to honor and support the efforts of Pennsylvania's farm families. ... Gus Dudgeon, a producer whose credits include Elton John, David Bowie, the Bonzo Dog Band and XTC, died July 21 in a car crash in western England, according to Associated Press. Dudgeon, 59, was pronounced dead at the scene, as was his traveling companion, who could not be identified at press time. ...
