Janet Jackson's Flu Bug To Shut Down Shows In Three Cities

Singer cancels shows in Cleveland, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh this week.

Janet Jackson's All for You tour could be subtitled "Not for You" if you happen to live in Cleveland, Indianapolis or Pittsburgh.

Miss Jackson has canceled her performances in those cities, citing a bout with influenza as the cause, according to her publicist. Concerts in Cleveland (August 5), Indianapolis (August 7) and Pittsburgh (August 8) were affected by her illness. Jackson is expected to resume the trek August 10 in Buffalo, New York.

The Cleveland's performance has been changed to September 3, according to her manager. The Indianapolis show was moved to October 18, following what was to be the final North American date of the tour, October 13 in Denver (see [article id="1444127"]"Janet Jackson Adds More Dates To Tour"[/article]). Pittsburgh's gig was rescheduled for October 20.

The All for You tour, in support of Jackson's eponymous album, has been riddled with setbacks since its onset. Opening night in Vancouver (July 5) was nixed when portions of the stage hadn't arrived at General Motors Place in time (see [article id="1444975"]"Janet Jackson Cancels Tour Opener"[/article]). That show was rescheduled for four days later.

A chipped tooth, resulting from a pre-show accident, forced another cancellation July 18 in Milwaukee, where Jackson underwent emergency dental work (see [article id="1445276"]"Janet's Chipped Tooth Derails Milwaukee Concert"[/article]). That show will now take place October 16.
