Though some Third Eye Blind fans may have noticed the cameo appearance of buxom super model Anna Nicole Smith in the band's latest video for the song "Jumper," many still don't know how that union came about.

Singer Stephan Jenkins says of the pairing, "Anna Nicole Smith is a friend of the band's drummer Brad Hargreaves, who just stopped by the day of the shoot to make the appearance."

Though "Jumper" is the last single to be released off of the group's 1997 self-titled album, their next musical endeavor is not too far away. A spokesperson for the band says that Third Eye Blind will start recording a new album in San Francisco in January after finishing up their MTV Campus Invasion Tour with Eve 6. The tour kicked off last Saturday in Lincoln, Nebraska and will hit more than 20 colleges and universities by the end of its run.

Third Eye Blind's new album is expected to be out in late 1999.
