Sugar Ray Takes Spin In Roller Rink For New Video

You can't call Sugar Ray a one-hit wonder any more -- because now they have two qualified sucesses, as "Every Morning," the first single off the band's upcoming "14:59" album, is already being embraced by radio stations before its official release.

Sugar Ray shot the video for "Every Morning" in a roller rink in Burbank, California, earlier this month with super director McG, a long-time friend of the band's frontman, Mark McGrath. McG actually lent a hand in the writing of the song, and the two previously teamed up together to shoot the videos for "Mean Machine," "10 Seconds Down," "RPM," and "Fly," Sugar Ray's first big hit.

McGrath describes "Every Morning" as a throwback to the vintage sounds and styles of the '70s and '80s, with a lot of noticeable references to film and musicals of the eras.

Sugar Ray's "14:59" is due out on January 12.
