Monica is currently touring as part of Nickelodeon's "All That" Music & More Festival, but in addition to her normal road schedule, the Grammy Award-winning singer is also planning to host a few roller rink parties on select dates of the tour.

Monica is holding the skating parties in conjunction with the National Make-A-Wish Foundation and will donate a part of the proceeds raised by the parties to the non-profit organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.

Entitled the Skate Jam Tour '99, Monica plans to hold the roller rink revelries in the evenings after she as completed her day gigs at the "All That" fest.

The first Skate Jam will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 4, with subsequent parties scheduled for Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Atlanta, and Holmdel, New Jersey.

Monica's busy summer also includes three dates on Sarah McLachlan's Lilith Fair tour on July 20 and August 28-29.
