Misfits Headed For WCW Pay-Per-View

If you're a fan of The Misfits and you like pro wrestling, you may be waving good-bye to 30 bucks this weekend.

The punk legends will be helping out their friend, WCW star Vampiro, as he takes on Berlyn at this weekend's "WCW Mayhem" pay-per-view event live from Montreal. The contest is being billed as a "chain match" and will see the band man Vampiro's corner for the bout. The Misfits first turned up by Vampiro's side earlier this month on an episode of Ted Turner's "WCW Monday Nitro" (see [article id="1432194"]"Misfits Hit The Ring For WCW"[/article]).

The time with the WCW is just the latest stage in a mini Misfits explosion that sees the band delivering a new album ("Famous Monsters"), a new video ("Scream"), a role in horror director George Romero's next film, and a line of action figures.

If you'd rather see The Misfits do what they do best, the band will play Rochester, New York's Water Street Music Hall on December 3.
