Ricky Martin, More Added To "Millennium Live" Broadcast

After landing the young pop icons of 'N Sync for their marathon New Year's Eve program, the organizers behind "Millennium Live... Humanity's Broadcast" have now added Ricky Martin to the lineup.

According to "Variety," the 24-hour global telecast will feature live coverage of the former Menudo-man's concert in Paris.

The publication also reports that Aerosmith, Blondie, Destiny's Child, The Pretenders, and 10,000 Maniacs have been added to the marathon broadcast, which will be carried in the United States on the PAX network.

As we reported last month, 'N Sync will be performing on the program, as well as Santana, Phil Collins, Maxi Priest, and new age icons Jean Michel Jarre and Mike "Tubular Bells" Oldfield (see [article id="1432538"]"'N Sync Set For 'Millennium Live'..."[/article]).

Millennium Live... Humanity's Broadcast" will begin airing at 6 a.m. (ET) on December 31.
