The Lox Prepare Ruff Ryders Debut

After leaving Sean "Puffy" Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment, Yonkers' hip-hop trio The Lox is putting the finishing touches its first album for Ruff Ryders/Interscope Records.

On January 25, the group will release "We Are The Streets," which will see the outfit team with producers Swizz Beats, DJ Premiere, Timbaland and P.K.

According to Interscope, The Lox (a.k.a. Jadakiss, Sheek and Styles) will return to their "gritty hip-hop roots" on the LP, bringing in fellow Ruff Ryders Eve, Drag-on, and Swizz Beats as well as Timbaland and fellow Yonkers MC Kasino for a few lines.

"Wild Out," the first single from "We Are The Streets," has already hit the clubs and the Tim Story-directed video is already in rotation. Jadakiss is also slated to release a solo album in April 2000.

Meanwhile, The Lox have also been chosen by Iceberg Jeans to appear in the advertising campaign for its Spring/Summer line.
