X Still Weighing Summer Tour Options

As the summer tour landscape begins to take shape, a spokesperson for the pioneering L.A. punk band X says that the band's summer is still undecided.

The group, which recently reformed for two sold out and critically lauded shows in California, is currently in discussion with folks in the Lollapalooza camp about a spot with that tour, but nothing has been finalized yet.

Every time we hear something good, something better comes along," the group's longtime manager, Ron DeBlasio told MTV News Online.

DeBlasio notes that the group has been fielding offers to play a number of one-off shows in venues from New York to the Pacific Northwest to Pittsburgh and has also been contacted by a number of summer package tours.

As we first reported earlier this year (see [article id="1435269"]"Billy Zoom Returns To X, In Talks To Play Warped"[/article]), the band had been in discussions with the Warped tour about a spot on that annual outing, but X's manager

now says that the band will not be appearing on that tour.

The reformation of X and the subsequent tour hoopla has been spurred by the release of the double-CD anthology, "Beyond And Back," which hit stores late last year.
