Korn To Premiere New Track During "South Park" Special

Fifteen months after releasing its breakthrough LP, the double platinum "Follow The Leader," Korn plans to return to store shelves in November with the follow-up, "Issues," and will debut a new single on the Halloween episode of "South Park.

While details about the band's appearance on the lewd and crude animated series are still rather hush-hush, Korn apparently plays a major part in that episode's storyline, which will include the premiere of the new Korn song "Falling Away From Me.

In addition to "performing" the track, all of the members of Korn -- singer Jonathan Davis, guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer, guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and drummer David Silveria -- have lent their voices to their respective animated counterparts for the "South Park" special.

In other news, Korn is scheduled to wrap its weeklong stint on the Family Values Tour this week, following shows on Kansas City, Missouri on October 12 and Minneapolis on October

13.

Korn has also contributed a live version of "Blind" to the upcoming "Woodstock '99" double album, and its song is the lead track on the more aggressively minded "red disc.

Issues" is due in stores on November 16.
