K-Ci & JoJo, Gerald Levert, Kevon Edmonds, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly have signed on for the third annual SoulFest tour, an outing sponsored by the cereal brand HoneyNut Cheerios and slated to kick off on July 1 in Memphis, Tennessee.

As part of the SoulFest 2000 tour launch, a special commemorative Cheerios cereal box featuring Maze and Gerald Levert will hit store shelves in early July.

We know how to groove but we also know how to do things soft,'' Frankie Beverly said in a statement announcing SoulFest 2000. "When we come to perform, we don't mess around. We owe it to the audience to give it all we got.

In related news, Kevon Edmonds will make an appearance as a wedding singer in the upcoming Disney film "The Kid" starring Bruce Willis and due out on July 7.

Edmonds' singing role in the film is similar to the part he played in an episode of the ABC daytime soap "All My Children" last month, when Edmonds sang at the wedding

of the show's star-crossed lovers, Hayley and Matteo Santos.
