Warped Tour Adds Ice-T And Others, Revisits Past In Documentary

Promising an eclectic mix of everything from hardcore rap to Sno-Core style ska, organizers of the 1999 Vans Warped Tour have finalized a lineup with Ice-T joining a crowded bill that already includes Cypress Hill, Black-Eyed Peas, Royal Crown Revue, Less Than Jake and the Living End.

The outing will also includes sets from Sevendust, Suicidal Tendencies, Pennywise, Blink 182, Bouncing Souls, Dropkick Murphys, Spring-Heel Jack, Agnostic Front, Jimmy Eat World, and the Lunachicks (see "Sevendust, Suicidal Tendencies, Black-Eyed Peas Lined Up For Warped; Cypress Hill Expected To Sign Up Too"). The tour kicks off June 25 at a Texas venue to be announced.

For a look back at choice cuts from the 1998 Warped tour, check out the documentary "Punk Rock Summer Camp," which captures the mayhem and madness of last year’s festival. The rude and rocking 84-minute film offers memorable highlights from Rancid, Bad Religion, Reverend Horton

Heat and more. Sales of the video (available in record and skate stores and at Warped ’99 venues) benefits non-profit groups like Lifebeat and boarding for breast cancer.
