Fun Lovin' Criminals Settle "Bodega" Tab, Announce Spring Tour

The hip-hop meets rip rock trio of Fun Lovin' Criminals have a new album, "100% Colombian," in stores this week, and have just wrapped work on the video to the first U.S. single, "Korean Bodega.

The clip for [article id="1444527"]"Korean Bodega" [28.8 RealVideo][/article] follows one convenience store denizen through his series of misadventures whilst on the way to the corner shop -- but with an interesting twist -- as the footage is presented in reverse chronological order. Unfortunately, the band says that it is unhappy with this visual interpretation of the song, and has opted to shoot a second video for "Bodega" within the next few weeks.

During a recent preview show, FLC frontman Huey explained that he had written the song for the Korean shop owner in his own New York City neighborhood after he let Huey walk out with a few items even though the singer-guitarist had left his wallet at home.

The Fun Lovin' Criminals will launch a short month-long

promotional tour in early February, after which they will head back to Europe -- where the band is one of America's most popular musical imports -- for an extensive tour there.

  • 2/8 - Washington, DC @ 9:30 Club
  • 2/10 - New York, NY @ Irving Plaza
  • 2/11 - Boston, MA @ Paradise
