Erasure Coming To The 'Net

March 17 [14:00 EST] -- Well before Electronic was being ballyhooed as the next big thing, Erasure was spinning synthesized melodies over dance-friendly beats and winning fans on U.K. and U.S. dancefloors.

Now, Andy Bell and Vince Clarke, the creative duo known as Erasure, will bring hits like "Chains Of Love" and "A Little Respect" to the Internet with a live cybercast of their Tuesday night concert in New York City.

The broadcast, carried live from New York's Irving Plaza, will begin at 9 p.m. and will be available at SonicNet (sonicnet.com).

In addition to the band's road-tested material, they will probably roll out a significant chunk of material from their upcoming album, "Cowboy," which is due at the end of March.
