Snoop, Dupri, Nas Down For New Slick Rick Album

Snoop Doggy Dogg paid tribute to the old school of rap when he covered Slick Rick's classic "La Di Da Di" for his 1993 record, "Doggystyle" -- and now the rap pioneer has tapped Snoop to guest on his own upcoming album.

Slick Rick is currently in the studio working on tracks for the record, the rapper's first solo effort since 1994's "Behind Bars." Rick plans to release the still-untitled new album, which also includes appearances by Jermaine Dupri and Nas, in the fall.

Rick has also been doing his own fair share of guest spots recently, and laid down some vocal work on "Fresh" for Durpi's new "Life in 1472," and rapped alongside Snoop on a track called "United" for Kid Capri's forthcoming "mix tape" album.
