Crazy Town Leaves Ozzfest After Arrest

If you had hoped to catch Crazy Town on this summer's Ozzfest, you'd better set your sights on one of the other 18 bands playing this summer's version of the tour.

Spokespeople for Ozzfest confirm that the Los Angeles hard rockers have been pulled from Ozzfest 2000 by the band's manager. According to the Ozzfest camp, this decision follows Crazy Town singer Shifty Shellshock's recent arrest and his subsequent absence from two Ozzfest dates.

The Ozzfest camp knew no details of the arrest, and spokespeople for Crazy Town's record label were unavailable for comment at press time.

The band had managed to have a much smoother go of it on the recent Return Of The Rock tour, which saw the group team with P.O.D., Staind, and Dope for two weeks worth of dates (see [article id="1433001"]"Staind, P.O.D., Others Launching Joint Tour"[/article]).
