Puffy's Studio Hit By Street Shooting

Friday morning, at about 1:30 a.m. (ET), a number of gunshots were fired through the front door of a Manhattan recording studio owned by Sean "Puffy" Combs.

Rappers Lil' Kim and Lil' Cease were working inside the studio, which is named "Daddy's House," at the time, but neither was hurt in the incident. Combs was in Florida at the time of the shooting.

New York City police found a trail of blood at the scene, but they could not find any victims.

Sources tell MTV News that an argument was started by patrons at a nearby nightclub, who then made their way down the street. Police say that there was a dispute at the location just before the shooting, but they were not called in until after shots were fired.
