Lil' Kim, Lil' Cease Deny Entourages' Involvement In Puffy Studio Shooting

Rappers Lil' Kim and Lil' Cease have released a statement denying their respective involvement with the shooting that occurred at Puff Daddy's Manhattan recording studio last week.

As we previously reported, the drive-by shooting happened early Friday morning just outside of Daddy's House studio. The gunfire shattered a glass door of the facility, but did not hit anyone directly (see [article id="1427320"]"Puffy's Studio Hit By Street Shooting"[/article]).

The New York Post" reported over the weekend that the blood trails found at the scene were from a woman who was cut by glass shards from the door, but a New York City Police Department spokesperson was unable to confirm that.

The newspaper also reported that Bad Boy artist Shyne, who has been described as having a voice eerily similar to the late Biggie Smalls, was the intended target of the incident, after having gotten into an altercation earlier that evening at a nightclub, but that has not been confirmed

either.

Lil' Kim and Lil' Cease, who were inside the studio at the time of the attack, denied reports that members of their entourages were involved in the shooting. Police say they still have no suspects or apparent motive for the shooting.
