U2 Joined By Boyzone For "Sweetest Thing" Video

As U2 readies its new greatest hits album, "U2 The Best of 1980-1990," for a November 3 release, the band was in Dublin last week to shoot a video for its new single, "The Sweetest Thing," and were joined on the set by the Irish pop group, Boyzone.

The teen-idol vocal group have also laid down vocals for the updated version of "Sweetest Thing," a song Bono told MTV Europe he wrote during the sessions for "The Joshua Tree" album after he forgot his wife's birthday.

As we previously reported (see [article id="1426486"]"Boyzone Poised For U.S. Success"[/article]), Boyzone have just signed a deal with Mercury Records after reaching Backstreet Boys-type success in the U.K., as all of the Zone's past 12 singles have charted in the Top 5.
