Lauryn, Missy, Mary J. Visit Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah's recently renewed daily talk show will get a heavy shot of star power this week when Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, and Missy Elliott stop by.

The rapper-turned-host and her syndicated show, fittingly titled "Queen Latifah," will welcome the trio of R&B stars on Friday for an hour of performances and couch talk.

On the episode, Blige offers a performance her hit single "Deep Inside," and also talks at length with Latifah about the price of fame and her struggle with drugs and alcohol. Later, Hill joins Blige for a performance of Blige's hit "All That I Can Say" (which Hill penned and produced) and spends time on the couch with Latifah and Blige as the three women share stories from Hill's baby shower. Finally, Elliott hits the set and uses the opportunity to thank Latifah blazing a trail for women in hip-hop.

Latifah's show airs at different times in different markets, and fans are encouraged to check their local listings for airtimes.

The rapper

brought her talk show to the airwaves last September, and since then has played host to numerous musical guests including Ice Cube, R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, and Snoop Dogg. Latifah's talk show was recently renewed for a second season by its syndicator, Telepictures.
