Hootie, Babyface, Eagles In Swing For Tiger Woods Benefit

Hootie and the Blowfish, Babyface Edmonds and the Eagles have been tapped by golfer Tiger Woods to perform at the Tiger Jam '98 benefit concert.

According to Ticketmaster, Tiger Jam '98 will be held at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles on June 8, with proceeds of the show being earmarked for various programs by the Tiger Woods Foundation which promotes racial harmony.

The event will provide a break for Hootie, who is currently working on its new record in a L.A. studio (see [article id="1430143"]"Hootie Receives Inspirational Award"[/article]), and will also mark the first the Eagles have played together since being formally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland last January (see [article id="1426259"]"Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Santana Enter Hall..."[/article]).
