After wowing critics and winning over fans with his opening slot on this summer's Metallica tour, Jerry Cantrell is now set to launch his own headlining tour next month.

The Alice In Chains guitarist/vocalist will stage his own tour behind his solo debut, "Boggy Depot," on October 1 in Milwaukee. Once again, Cantrell will be joined by the same outfit of musicians who helped him during his time with Metallica: former Queensryche guitarist Chris DeGarmo, Old Lady Litterbug bassist Nick Rhinehart, former Fishbone keyboardist Chris Dowd, and Alice In Chains drummer Sean Kinney.

For the trek, Cantrell has enlisted the help of openers Flight 16.
