RECAP: Adrienne and Lisa, Where Did It Go Wrong?

Last night, during the first hour of a three-week-long Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, Andy Cohen addressed issues with the cast, tiptoed around a few more, and set the stage for finger-pointing and fireworks in the coming weeks. They crew discussed topics ranging from domestic violence and substance abuse to frivolous spending and a doggy war between Giggy and Jackpot.

But the main idea we got from this airing? There is absolutely no love lost between Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof, so don't count on any future cooking lessons between the two former neighbors.

Kim Richards, who was finishing a stint in rehab, was not present, but previews indicate Cohen secured a one-on-one interview with her that will air before the reunion shows wrap up. In case you missed it, we'll save you an hour and cover the highlights here. Shi-shi-shi, dahling!

-- Cohen began by discussing Kim Richards' rehab. Kyle Richards reported her sister is doing great, but that Kim should answer any specific questions about her addiction(s) and recovery.

-- Camille Grammer cleared up a rumor that she and Brandi Glanville made out while in Las Vegas -- they did not -- but they did fondle each other. Yes, that much we saw. Once was enough, but Bravo re-aired that footage anyway.

-- Lisa Vanderpump (who, incidentally, could use a lesson in the "less accessories are more" department) and Adrienne Maloof are now at odds. First, Adrienne got upset because Lisa called her dog, Jackpot, "Crackpot" on Twitter. "That's my child," Adrienne said.

-- Adrienne was also upset that Lisa called her shoe a "Maloof hoof" during the season, to which Lisa responded "It was a play on words. I'm sorry, it's a joke." In the next breath, Lisa said she liked some of Adrienne's shoe designs: "A hoof is a fat little shoe." Adrienne said, How would you like it if I called (your restaurant) Villa Caca instead of Villa Blanca? Clearly, it's probably a good thing these two don't live across the street from each other anymore.

-- Camille jumped in and agrees that Lisa's "joke" was insulting and rude. Then Kyle admitted Lisa's humor can be condescending. "When I did the splits at Pandora's party, you laughed at me." Welllll, that's not really proving your point, Kyle... we ALL laughed when you did that.

-- Kyle continued talking about Lisa, saying "Being in a friendship with you is like playing chess with Bobby Fisher." Lisa took Kyle to task for accusing her of "preying on the weak," saying it was hurtful.

-- Lisa was also hurt that Adrienne's chef, Bernie, talked smack about her on the show. Meantime, Adrienne is upset that Lisa supposedly disparaged Bernie's cooking around Beverly Hills, and said that's why he doesn't like her.

-- Adrienne stuck the final blow when she accused Lisa of selling stories to Radar Online -- another issue that Camille backed her up on. Lisa is so insulted that she may not be able to come back from that. She calls the accusation "character assassination."

-- Cohen asked Lisa if she really spent a million dollars on Pandora's wedding; she said she didn't but won't say what the final bill was because she doesn't want Pandora to know.

-- Cardinal rule of living in Beverly Hills: "No matter how much you spend on something, you don't talk about how much you spent." Really? So I guess I wouldn't get to swell with pride over the $175 jacket that I just scored for $35? Ohhhh, you mean you're spending, like, $25K on sunglasses and not talking about it? My bad.

-- Next up: The much more somber discussion of Russell Armstrong's spousal abuse and suicide. Taylor Armstrong said that she and daughter, Kennedy, are both doing fine, and going to regular counseling. The rest of the ladies say they were shocked to hear how Russell died.

-- When asked, most of the 'wives piped in to defend Bravo's airing of season two after Russell's suicide, despite the backlash from the public and media claiming it was in poor taste.  Adrienne said she believed airing the season would raise awareness about domestic violence and suicide, but let's be honest: Are any of these women going to bite the hand that feeds them?

-- When asked why she'd join a reality show when she was in that situation, Taylor said she thought being in front of camera could offer protection from the abuse. Wow, that's a desperation move if I've ever seen one. Sad.

-- Lisa says she saw a verbally abusive text Russell sent Taylor, calling her a "f***ing whore, piece of s***," and the like. Then Taylor says Russell's birthday text to her said something to the effect of, "Happy birthday you a**hole, you psychotic b*tch." Taylor says that, many times, when Russell was berating her at home, she would think "Just hit me so we can get this over with because I knew that would end it."

-- Brandi arrived toward the end of the first hour, just in time to talk about her 48-hour wedding to her best guy friend on New Year's Eve, but it appears she will fight with just abut everyone on set before the reunion wraps up.

Pick up with the ladies next Monday, when part two airs at 9 p.m.
