Game Of Thrones, Captain America, Doctor Who Big Winners At Scream Awards

The stars were out in full Force at Spike TV's sixth annual Scream Awards - including a surprise visit from Darth Vader! Game Of Thrones won Best TV Show, fighting off such tough competition asThe Walking Dead, Fringe,  and Doctor Who. Don't feel too bad for the good Doctor just yet, however -- Matt Smith snagged a trophy for best Science Fiction Actor, trouncing such notables as Captain America: The First Avenger's Chris Evans and Cowboys and Aliens star Harrison Ford. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 swept the Screams with nods for Ultimate Scream, Best Fantasy Actor (Daniel Radcliffe), Best Villain (Ralph Fiennes as Lord Voldemort), Best F/X, Best Scream-Play, and Holy Sh!t Scene Of The Year. And bumping Harry from Best Fantasy Movie was X-Men: First Class, which also won Best Cameo honors for Hugh Jackman's hilarious appearance.

Comic book fans were not disappointed with this year's show, with Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World winning for Best Comic Book Movie as well as Fight Scene Of The Year. Best Comic Book went to Image's The Walking Dead, Ed Brubaker won Best Comic Book writer for Captain America, John Romita, Jr. won Best Comic Book Artist for The Avengers and Kick Ass 2, and Chris Evans beat out fellow Marvelous actors Chris Hemsworth and James McAvoy for Best Superhero. Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. received the prestigious Hero Award, Ghost Rider Nicolas Cage nabbed the Maverick Award, and The Dark Knight Rises got Most Anticipated Movie.
