Two Of Cypress Hill's Smoke Out Dates Postponed

Hawaii show pushed to October 21; New Jersey concert looking for new home.

Cypress Hill have postponed the Hawaii and New Jersey dates of their Smoke Out festival.

The Honolulu date on October 14 at Kualoa Ranch has been moved to October 21. Cypress Hill, Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies and Kottonmouth Kings are confirmed for the show, with more acts to be added.

The New Jersey date, originally scheduled for September 29 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, has been postponed until organizers can secure another location. That show is scheduled to feature Cypress Hill, Deftones, Fear Factory, Busta Rhymes, Redman and the Long Beach Dub Allstars.

Smoke Out organizers claim that management at the PNC Bank Arts Center dropped the show, citing crowd-control issues at previous concerts with similar bills. A venue representative said the date was never confirmed.

This is the first year that Smoke Out has extended beyond its home base in Southern California (see [article id="1446652"]"Busta, Deftones, Method Man To Smoke Out With Cypress Hill"[/article]).

Both California dates — October 6 at the Glen Helen Blockbuster Pavilion in Devore and October 13 at the Network Associates Coliseum in Oakland — are still on.

The lineup for those shows includes: Cypress Hill, Deftones, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Method Man, Erick Sermon & Keith Murray, Suicidal Tendencies, Fear Factory, Afroman, the Long Beach Dub Allstars, Kottonmouth Kings, NOFX, Armand Van Helden, DJ Sneak, DJ Swamp & DJ Z-Trip, Richard "Humpty" Vission, and Liquid Todd.
