One Direction have finally released their much anticipated album, Made In The A.M., and it will have you feeling all the feels. Not just because it's the band's last album for quite some time, but because it evokes so many different emotions.
The guys -- Niall, Louis, Liam and Harry -- display more maturity on the new album, as they sing about love, heartbreak and (gasp!) one night stands.
No matter what you're going through, or how you're feeling, there is a song on this album that you can relate to. So here is a breakdown of which 1D song off their album you should listen to based on your mood.
"Drag Me Down"
Listen to it when you're feeling: determined.
Why: The song is all about standing your ground, and even when the world's against you, remind yourself that you're a badass, and keep pressing forward.
Listen to it when you're feeling: adventurous.
Why: Everyone could use a little more fun in their life! So if you're in the mood to do the things "you know that we shouldn’t do," then this song is "Perfect" for you.
"If I Could Fly"
Listen to it when you're feeling: like you're really missing someone.
Why: For anyone in a long distance relationship, this Harry-written track could be your new song. With emotional lyrics like, "I'm missing half of me when we're apart," the sweet ballad will restore your faith in love and give you endless amounts of hope.
"Long Way Down"
Listen to it when you're feeling: like you need a good cry.
Why: It's all about being in a relationship that had it all, but still didn't work. If you can relate (as most of us can), then get the tissues, because this one will get the tears flowing.
Listen to it when you're feeling: flirty.
Why: This song may be all about a booty call, but who wouldn't want one of the guys of 1D as their "Temporary Fix?" Highly recommend turning this one on as you're getting ready for a night out with friends.
Listen to it when you're feeling: head-over-heels in love.
Why: This song should be listened to very loudly, with all the windows down. It's super fun, but it's all about being "never enough" for another person.
"Walking In The Wind"
Listen to it when you're feeling: reminiscent.
Why: The Paul Simon-inspired song is bittersweet, and will have you thinking of "the one that got away."
"Love You Goodbye"
Listen to it when you're feeling: like you're getting dumped.
Why: The song deals with an imminent breakup, but the desire to share one more night together before officially saying goodbye. The heartbreaking ballad will do nothing to help cure your broken heart, but you can ugly cry all you want.
"What A Feeling"
Listen to it when you're feeling: relaxed.
Why: The easy rock Fleetwood Mac vibes of this song remind me of just chilling with friends on a beach, and just being completely at ease and happy with life.
"End Of The Day"
Listen to it when you're feeling: like you're about to fall in love.
Why: The song takes you back to the start of a relationship and coming to the realization that it just might be love. With its throwback sound and Louis' epic high note, it will definitely give you butterflies... just like love.
Listen to it when you're feeling: thankful.
Why: This song holds a special place in the hearts of fans, since it's dedicated to all the Directioners who turned One Direction into the biggest band in the world. Also, it makes you feel really thankful, because the guys promise that this is "not the end," and there is much more "History" to be made.
