Before you proceed with reading this post I suggest you get a fan, because Hilary Duff's cover for the April issue of Cosmopolitan is out-of-control hot (like, surface of the sun hot). Hilary Duff, actress/singer/BOMBSHELL, has never looked better, IMHO, and when you take into account how obsessed I am with her metallic lavender pant-dress from The Lizzie McGuire Movie, you know it's serious.

Following a quiet break from the spotlight (and recent break-up), it looks like Hil is 100% back, and what better way to announce your glorious return to TV and the airwaves than with a leather jacket and some Dukes Of Hazzard-worthy American Eagle denim cutoffs?

Trick question—there is no better way. How incredible does she look?!

Her style might have gotten a little toughened-up, but she's still super sweet.

Case in point: When Cosmo asked her about the meaning behind last summer's can't-get-it-out-of-your-head single "All About You," she said, "I wrote that song for a reason! I've enjoyed myself. I think everyone should have something where you know it's not exactly what you're looking for but you just have a wicked good time. That was really freeing for me and a bit of an awakening. It's fun to have a secret."

Does that secret have anything to do with how she gets her hair to be so perfect 24/7? Because that's some info I really need to know.

The kickass cover spread wasn't all denim and leather, however. This pale pink crop top combined with a high-waisted lace skirt ensemble is the perfect outfit for spring, no? It also serves as a good reminder of the fact that Hilary Duff has raging abs, if you hadn't noticed.

With a new TV show on the way—Younger, premiering on March 31!—hopefully we'll be seeing way more of Hil on magazine stands. Then again, when she looks like that, how could we not?!
