If 'The Hills' Casties Were Disney Characters, Here's Who They'd Be

For starters, Lauren and Lo would make the perfect 'Little Mermaid' duo!

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, an attractive group of twentysomethings -- first led by Lauren Conrad and then Kristin Cavallari -- allowed viewers into their fairytale everyday lives in the Hollywood "Hills." There were romances, fights, very touching moments of friendship and of course, unexpected drama. Sounds just like the prominent themes that have played out through the years in our favorite Disney classic movies, no?

In honor of the memorable hit series -- and our admiration for those iconic films -- we've decided to cast the former MTV folk as some of the unforgettable animated characters. Without further ado, here are our picks:

Lauren as Ariel from "The Little Mermaid"

ariel (2)

Just like the redhead who once lived under the sea, the lovely "Laguna Beach" lady was the epitome of a big dreamer. Sure, LC never combed her luxurious locks with a dinglehopper, but her desire to be part of the fashion world -- while  King Triton's daughter's wished to be human -- makes them a lot alike. Both young women also found their happily-ever-after: The lifestyle maven said "I do" to her longtime boyfriend William Tell in September, and who could forget Ariel and Eric's sunset tearjerker nuptials? One major bonus: Lauren donned a DIY mermaid costume this year for Halloween, although it's unclear if she had stuffed-animal versions of Flounder and Sebastian as accessories.

Audrina as Mulan from "Mulan"

mulan (2)

Besides the whole disguising as a man thing, the brunette beauty and the Chinese warrior are both independent -- plus they're attempting to let people see their reflection and who they are inside. And if you ask Justin Bobby and on-again off-again beau Corey Bohan, the current "1st Look" host was most definitely "a girl worth fighting for."

Whitney as Rafiki from "The Lion King"

baboon (2)

Whit and the baboon both shared sage wisdom within their kingdoms social circles. While the fashion designer never hoisted a baby or tiny creature like the baobab tree resident and Simba during "The Circle of Life," Whitney was always the voice of reason when her friends, specifically her fellow Teen Vogue intern, needed her the most.

Heidi as the Evil Queen from "Snow White"

Even though the blond bombshell isn't a mother yet like the "Snow White" antagonist -- much to her disappointment -- Heidi's desire to be the fairest of them all led her to make the decision to have 10 elective cosmetic surgery procedures in one day.

Spencer as Gaston from "Beauty and the Beast"

Gaston

The notorious Cali pot-stirrer and the super-buff Frenchman both tried hard to woo their girls -- Heidi and Belle, respectively. Unfortunately, their similarities end there: Gaston met his demise when he was trying to "kill the Beast," while Spence swapped vows with Heids six years ago.

Brody as Eric from "The Little Mermaid"

eric (2)

To put it simply, they're both dreamboats who rule their respective hometowns. While Brody was never one to be shy about kissing the girl, lets just say B and E are the hottest ladies' men around.

Kristin as Jasmine from "Aladdin"

jasmine (2)

The former queen bee and the princess of Agrabah were both looking to break free from their respective surroundings: K-Cav was dunzo with Tinseltown during the show's finale and decided to go to Europe, while Jas wanted to be able to see a whole new world beyond the palace walls with Aladdin/Prince Ali. Another similarity: Neither are afraid to make snippy, diva-like comments!

Lo as Flounder from "The Little Mermaid"

The chef and the tropical fish were extremely loyal to their BFFs and would do whatever they could to help them during tough times -- from friendship highs and lows to losing your voice to an evil sea witch. But unlike Flounder, Lo was NEVER a guppy.

Stephanie as Alice from "Alice in Wonderland"

alice

So many common personality traits it ain't even funny. They're both daydreamers who were fumbling down a windy path as they tried to find themselves. They each made some booboos -- like Steph dating her dear friend Lauren's ex Doug to Alice accidentally nibbling on some magic mushrooms. Eventually, both blonds made better choices to further their futures, but it certainly was a bit touch and go for a period of time.

Justin Bobby as Tarzan from "Tarzan"

tarzan (2)

For starters, the guys have enviable locks. While JB wasn't raised by gorillas and doesn't opt for scantily clad wardrobe choices like the adventurer, the hunky dudes both needed to be tamed.

Jen as Ursula from "The Little Mermaid"

Ursula

Let us state the obvious: This comparison has nothing to do with physical appearance because Jen obviously looks NOTHING like the overweight octopus. But there's no denying that the LB native did swoop in and try to steal Brody, much like the antagonist did with Eric -- in a more attractive human form, of course.

Last, but certainly not least, Frankie as Max from "The Little Mermaid"

max (2)

Frankie wasn't slobbery like the lovable canine, but he would do ANYTHING for his crew -- just like the goofy sheepdog. And the cool-as-a-cucumber Cali dude would warn Brody if he was making the wrong choice with a girl -- just like Max did when he bit the cruel Vanessa in the rear during her nuptials with Eric. Always a pal!
