Kanye West Calls Out Beyoncé, Jay Z, And Hillary Clinton

‘I’ve been sent here to give y’all my truth even at the risk of my own life ...’

The Saint Pablo tour has given Kanye West a platform — a floating one, literally — and lately, he's been using it to work through his opinions on everything from Kid Cudi's battle against depression to why he would've voted for Donald Trump had he chosen to participate in the 2016 presidential election.

In Sacramento last night (November 19), West played for a grand total of 30 minutes before he cut the show short after calling out Beyoncé, Jay Z, Hillary Clinton, and the media. He started by saying that he was "hurt" by Bey, and that he "went down seven years" on her behalf before alleging that she performed at the 2016 VMAs on the condition that she take home the Video of the Year Moonman over West's own "Famous" or Drake's "Hotline Bling." (Full disclosure: MTV News is owned by MTV, which produces the VMAs.)

"Now don’t go trying to diss Beyoncé, she is great," he told the crowd. "Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people. We are all equal. But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are just to win. Fuck winning! Fuck looking cool! Fuck looking cool! Fuck being cool! Fuck all that, bruh! I’ve been sent here to give y’all my truth even at the risk of my own life, even at the risk of my own success, my own career. I've been sent here to give y'all the truth. Jay Z — call me, bruh. You STILL ain’t called me ... Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Please call me. Talk to me like a man.”

The rant — which he referred to as "a moment in the Matrix" — praised DJ Khaled (cool?), Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, his own relevance, and that of the Saint Pablo tour. Still, he couldn't bring up his own show without cutting down the other person he definitely didn't vote for: "If your old ass keeps following old models, you’ll be Hillary Clinton."
