Noah dropped a major bombshell on tonight's Faking It, and so did Shane. The Hester High student admitted that he's fallen head-over-designer-heels for the new kid, arc and all.

"It's been a long time since I've felt like this," Shane confessed in a moment of rare vulnerability. "And the last time, I really screwed it up. I don't want that to happen again." Cue all the dark Shuke memories we long to forget.

Shane's admission came after several fruitless attempts to get Noah alone (including that "private concert," hubba hubba). The new kid's laundry list of excuses finally culminated in Shane and Liam playing super sleuths all the way to a homeless shelter — aka Noah's place of residence. It turns out that while Noah was pretty far out of the closet, he was hiding his transgender status.

His parents had disowned him and, as if that weren't bad enough, Noah's previous high school practically shunned him too. In the hopes of living a typical teenage life sans any trans label, Noah asked that Shane keep his secret safe. In the words of Amy's epic anti-labels speech: "No one should be pressured to slap on a label so that someone else can define them."
