It's official: Coldplay are your Super Bowl halftime performers.

The band, who just released their latest album, A Head Full of Dreams, will take center stage on Feb. 7 for the event's 50th anniversary celebration. According to the NFL, Chris Martin is "designing a show that will echo elements of the NFL’s On the Fifty campaign -- honoring the past, recognizing the present and looking ahead to the next 50 years, including other special artists."

So what other "special artists" could be joining him and his band on stage? Here are 11 guesses.

Beyoncé

This collaboration makes total sense since Bey teamed up with the band on their latest album for the track, "Hymn For The Weekend," but they go also way back. Not only are they close friends, but in 2010, Beyoncé, who performed at the 2013 Super Bowl, and Chris performed her hit "Halo" at the Hope for Haiti Telethon.

Ed Sheeran

We already know that these two sound good together since they teamed up twice this year to perform. The first, at Ed's concert at Boston's Gillette Stadium, where they sang Coldplay's hit, "Yellow," and the second, at the Global Citizen's Festival where they wowed the crowd with "Thinking Out Loud." Also, Ed had a huge year, so capping it off on the Super Bowl stage totally makes sense.

Rihanna

Rihanna teamed up with Coldplay to provide her sleek vocals to their 2012 track "Princess of China." They performed that song at that year's Grammy Awards and also took the stage together during the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Also, Rihanna is poised to make her return to music (she's been teasing ANTI non-stop), so the Super Bowl would be the perfect platform for her to come back.

Jay Z

These two are basically besties. Not only does Coldplay's "Yellow" remind Jay of his wife, Bey, but the band and the rapper have quite a musical history together. The two first got together for Jay's 2006 track, "Beach Chair," off his album Kingdom Come. Hov later jumped on a Coldplay song "Lost+" and they've performed several times together, including the 2009 Grammy Awards and a 2010 New Year's Eve party. Also, Jay has never performed at the Super Bowl, so he is long overdue.

Ariana Grande

Chris' kids, Apple and Moses, are big fans of Ariana Grande, so maybe they can convince their dad to bring her on the Super Bowl stage, much like they did when she joined the band on the Global Citizen stage. Ariana performed with Coldplay over the summer to duet with Chris on her song, "Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart," and their two voices melted together like butter.

Harry Styles

Sure, this may seem a little odd, but let me explain. Chris is actually a really big fan of the One Direction member, recently telling Ellen DeGeneres that he wanted to open a barber shop with him called "Hairy Styles," but, "he won't do it. He doesn't call me back." I have a feeling he would call you back if it was about the Super Bowl.

Tove Lo

The Swedish singer is featured on the band's album on the song, "Fun," so it would make sense that they would bring that to the Super Bowl. Also, Tove has had a lot of "Moments" this year, and it would be great to see one of the biggest breakout artists of 2015 get her shine on one of the biggest stages in the world. But, someone should remind her that she needs to keep her top on.

Kylie Minogue

Kylie first got together with Coldplay for their track "Lhuna," a charity single that was released in 2008 to promote World AIDS Day. They reunited in 2014 during a concert in Australia, where they collaborated on several songs, including her hit, "Can't Get You Out of My Head."

Kanye West

Kanye and Chris met during an impromptu session at Abbey Road studios back in 2006, which sparked their collaboration "Homecoming," which is featured on Kanye's album Graduation. The pair once performed together at Jay's New Years Eve party in 2010, but we need for them to share another moment together. Also, this could be the ideal time for Yeezy to release some new Swish material on us.

Taylor Swift

Some of us may have been a little surprised that Taylor didn't get the Super Bowl position, but there is still room on the stage. Plus, Taylor is a fan of the band, which she demonstrated back in 2008 with a cover of their track, "Viva La Vida."

Britney Spears

The Super Bowl is known for it's unexpected collaborations (remember Missy Elliot and Katy Perry last year?) and there would be no one more perfect than Britney. Sure, she doesn't really have any connection to Coldplay, but can't you just picture remix of "Sky Full Of Stars" and "Hold It Against Me?" I'm in!
