13 Things Justin Bieber May Be Singing About On 'Purpose'

From love, to pet monkeys to skateboarding, there's a lot to choose from.

In a few short hours Justin Bieber will finally show us what his Purpose really is.

Justin has been constantly teasing this album through interviews and songs, but time and again he has said that he's "letting the music do the talking."

So what is he going to say? Well, we looked back at some of the highs and lows over the past three years to try and figure out what he could be singing about on his new album.

The real Justin.

On his track, "I'll Show You," Justin promised he would reveal who he really is, and we would like to know. We've seen many different sides of Justin throughout the years, but as he makes this "transition from boy to man" it will be interesting to see who he has become.

Justin Bieber and his mom Pattie Mallette

A lot of people may have been surprised when they found out that Justin's relationship with his mom, Pattie Mallette has been "pretty nonexisting," so it will be interesting to see if that sparked any musical inspiration since he said that he became distant since he was "ashamed."

Throwing eggs...

One of Justin's most infamous moments over the past few years had to be the egg throwing incident. He was found guilty of vandalism in 2014 and was forced to fork over $80,000 in damages. Just recently he was taken off probation for the incident, so he's had a lot of time to think about how he could turn egg throwing into a song.

And throwing shade.

Clearly someone did Justin wrong when you listen to the lyrics for "Love Yourself." Justin, with the assistance of Ed Sheeran, sings about a girl who completely took advantage of his celebrity status using it for personal gain.

His first 'real love.'

Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber

Justin has made it no secret that his ex, Selena Gomez, was an inspiration for this album, especially on the track, "Mark My Words." He certainly has a lot of moments to pull from since the two dated on and off from 2010-2013.

His pet monkey.

Back in 2013, Justin got a pet monkey, Mally, whom he brought everywhere, but unfortunately, when he attempted to bring the animal into Germany he didn't have the proper paperwork. Mally was detained and the two weren't reunited, but as Justin recently said, "it's happy," in a German zoo.

His love/hate relationship with the paparazzi.

Things have not always been smooth sailing between Justin and the paps. He's been photographed getting agressve with them, flicking them off and getting arrested because of dangerous driving and assault due to their "unwelcome presence."

His "retirement."

Remember back in 2013 when Justin toyed with our emotions and told us that he was "retiring" from music. Yeah, that wasn't so funny to all of the Beliebers, but enough time has passed that we can laugh, or sing, about it.

Working on his fitness.

Calvin Klein

Justin has been doing a lot of crunches over the past few years getting in Calvin Klein model shape. Fitness is clearly part of his lifestyle and may just be part of his music.

That mop bucket incident.

Back in 2013, Justin was caught urinating in a mop bucket in a club in NYC yelling "F--k Bill Clinton," which he later apologized publicly for.

His faith.

Justin's renewed relationship with God has given him a great amount of confidence, recently saying that he feels "invincible like, nothing is bigger than God."

The people that did him wrong.

Justin recently said that trusting people is really hard for him because he's gotten hurt by close friends in the past. It will be interesting to see if he puts any of those personal experinces into songs since he said that it had a big effect on him and it changed "the way I looked at people for a while."

Skateboarding

There's no secret that Justin's favorite hobby is skateboarding, he posts Instagram videos of his moves and even incorporated it into his video for "What Do You Mean." Not sure how interesting an entire song about skateboarding would be, but if anyone could make it work, it would be Justin.
