Justin Bieber Shares Halsey Collab 'The Feeling' And Ed Sheeran Joint 'Love Yourself'

Both Purpose tracks debuted on Beats 1 radio.

As we prepare for Justin Bieber's fourth album, Purpose, to drop on Friday (Nov. 13), we've been looking back on his past collaborations and probing into who might've influenced key tracks on the record (read: Selena Gomez).

Meanwhile, Justin has been looking forward -- debuting two brand-new Purpose tracks on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show on Monday (Nov. 9).

"The Feeling"

First up was Justin's collaboration with Artist To Watch alum Halsey, which the pair teased on Friday. "I haven’t even met her yet, but she was my Woman Crush Wednesday," Bieber told Lowe at the premiere. Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, connected the two.

Musically, "The Feeling" is dense and moody and features Halsey singing the hook, twisting it into a poignant question: "Am I in love with you?/ Or am I in love with the feeling?" It's also big and EDM-inspired, in keeping with what we've heard so far from Purpose (especially "Sorry").

"Love Yourself"

And now for something completely different. "Love Yourself," co-written with Ed Sheeran and Benny Blanco, is unlike any of the tunes we've heard so far, featuring a lone guitar track and Justin's vulnerable voice (including a high falsetto backing track).

"Love Yourself" is confessional and naked, and Justin sings powerfully: "If you look the way you look that much/ Baby you should go and love yourself/ And if you think that I'm still holding onto something/ Baby you should go and love yourself." There's also a very brief but very, very cool and understated trumpet solo in the middle. Twenty points for that.

Friday better get here fast.
