Drake's Favorite Politician, Norm Kelly, Was In A Rap Battle

And he did the "Back to Back" pose again.

Drake’s favorite politician, Toronto Councillor Norm Kelly, was part of a hip-hop event yet again.

Kelly — who's been trolling Meek Mill on Twitter — showed up to King of the Dot’s “World Domination 5” where battlers Rone and Kid Twist were facing off. After Philadelphia MC Rone made a crack about slapping Kelly if he was Meek Mill, T. Dot’s Twist replied with “You can say it to his face.”

And bang, just like that, Norm was in his first rap battle, doing the “Back to Back” pose and everything.

While Norm didn't spit any bars during the battle, his presence alone made the crowd erupt. And then posing behind Kid Twist only made the cheers louder.

You might recall that Kelly struck that same pose with Drake at a Sept. concert and then flexed all over Twitter. Just check his caption here:

Drake’s also been involved with this particular battle league. Remember, he helped organize their “Blackout” event in February. The league plans battles all the time -- they have "Back to BAYsics 3" going down Oct. 24 -- and maybe Drizzy will be part of a different one soon. You never know.

After all, we spoke with KOTD’s league owner and host Organik earlier this year and he said Drizzy would only enter the battle arena under the King of the Dot brand. And now, if that ever happens, he could probably count on Norm being there to have his back too.
