Is The Song In This New 'AHS: Hotel' Teaser A Clue About Lady Gaga's Character?

Behold. Beware. The Countess.

We're getting closer to the the Oct. 7 premiere of "American Horror Story: Hotel." Thankfully, FX has shared plenty of promos while we sit and wait in complete anticipation... And on Monday, a new teaser dropped, this one solely focused on Lady Gaga's character known as "The Countess."

She has about three or four costume changes in the 30-second video, at least, we think that's how many she had — there were a lot of quick cuts common to "AHS" promos. And Gaga traipsing around with a bunch of Aryan children who look like they could've been in "Children of the Corn" isn't even the strangest part of this video. Nope, it's the song choice. Before you open your Shazam app, we can tell you right now the song is called "Du Hast" by the German band Rammstein.

For those of you who don't speak German, some of the lyrics translate to this, according to AZ Lyrics.

"You hate me to say / And I did not obey

Will you until death does sever / Be upright to her forever"

Since everything in the "AHS" franchise seems to be carefully planned, using this song choice was neither a coincidence nor that "it just sounded cool." What does this mean? We're not entirely sure yet, but we can safely assume bad things happen when you mess with The Countess.

See for yourself and watch the video below.
