Two People Injured After Shooting In Parking Lot Following J. Cole Concert

Police are still looking for the gunman.

Two people were reportedly shot following J. Cole's concert in Holmdel, New Jersey late Monday night.

According to The New York Times, Jersey state police say that the shooting occurred around 11:15 p.m. last night in the parking lot of the PNC Bank Arts Arena, where Cole was headlining his Forest Hills Drive tour. Both victims were flown to Jersey Shore Hospital, and one was reported in critical condition.

The gunman fled into the nearby woods following the shooting, and according to Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams, police are still searching for the shooter.

The previous night, Cole and his tourmate, Big Sean, were in Toronto for Drake's OVO Fest. The set was cut short due to the rain, but it didn't stop fans from enjoying the night.

The tour heads to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday night (August 4).
