It's hard to believe that five plus years have passed since Nicole Polizzi and Jenni Farley brought a whole new meaning to the term "BFFs." Flash forward to present day, and the inseparable duo have shared plenty of milestones together: shopping for bridal gowns, comparing baby bumps and, of course, celebrating birthdays.

JWOWW turns the big 3-0 today and, in honor of her best gal pal, Snooki waxed nostalgic about their friendship in an extremely heartfelt mini-essay, along with the collage-style Instagram snapshot below:

"Happy birthday to this girl who I only met 5 years ago but who I feel like I've known forever as my big sister," the mom of two lovingly wrote. "We have been through so much together and have killed reality tv together just being ourselves and being the best of friends we could to each other.

"I will cherish our friendship forever, and no one will ever know what we have been through except us," Mrs. LaValle continued. "Even though I always joke that you're old and 30, you're the most gorgeous and milfy 30-year-old I've ever seen. LOVE YEWWW BEWWWWWW."

And if you needed another reason to get out a tissue or two, JWOWW received a second Instagram tribute -- this time from her fiancé Roger Mathews:

"Happy 30th Birthday to my soulmate & best friend and most importantly the most amazing and inspirational mother to our little Angel," Rog sweetly captioned the smoochy snap.
