Do You Like Scary Movies? Then You'll Love Nick Jonas' New Role

The 'Jealous' singer lands a recurring role on 'Scream Queens.'

Nick Jonas has been cast in the latest twisted creation to hobble out of Ryan Murphy's horrifying mind.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Kingdom" star has nabbed a recurring role in "Scream Queens," an upcoming "horror comedy anthology" premiering this fall on Fox.

The series, co-created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, stars Joe Mangianello, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ariana Grande will guest-star in a recurring role.

THR describes "Scream Queens" as a "horror comedy anthology" about a "college campus that's rocked by a series of murders" à la "Scream 2" and "The House On Sorority Row." I could be wrong, but it sounds like "Scream Queens" will be a genre send-up of slasher tropes.

I'm still not sure why Ryan Murphy has created another horror anthology -- we've already got "American Horror Story." But, as my grandmother always said: "You can never have too many Ryan Murphy horror anthologies on TV."
