Whoa, Ariana Grande Is Going To Be On Fox's New Horror Show 'Scream Queens'

Fox is describing the show as a 'new comedy-horror anthology.'

Ariana Grande had a massive 2014, and it looks like 2015 will be no different. Following the release of her sophomore album My Everything, the 21-year-old ascended the throne to full-on pop star status—but this year it looks like she's planning her return to TV.

Today, during FOX's segment of the Television Critics Association (TCA) Winter Press Tour, they announced that Ariana will guest star in a recurring role on a show called "Scream Queens," which they are describing as a "new comedy-horror anthology."

Fox also revealed that the show will also star Joe Manganiello, "Glee" star Lea Michele, Abigail Breslinand Keke Palmer—Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts were previously announced as regulars too.

What will Ariana's role on the show be like? No word yet, but we do know she's great on camera—her long-time stint on Nickelodeon's "Sam & Cat" proved that way before her singing career took off.

The show's initial episodes will focus on a college campus that is shaken by a string of murders, and fifteen one-hour episodes are on the books for the season.

Production begins in spring and will premiere this fall on Fox. The series was co-created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, and these three along with Dante Di Loreto will also be the show's executive producers.
