Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt earned a place in TV history with their countless -- and exceptionally entertaining -- shenanigans on "The Hills," and when the series ended (RIP), Speidi didn't die with it.

From staged photo ops to even a divorce hoax, the twosome clearly thirsts for public acceptance...and we're happy to offer it.

Up next? Speidi will march onto the battlefield for the upcoming season of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars," where they'll no doubt expose the highs and lows of their married life. And to prepare for the duo's triumphant return to the small screen, we're taking a look back at where their extraordinary love affair began -- and reliving some of their most memorable MTV moments:

The first date

After Kristin Cavallari played matchmaker, Spencer and Heidi dined at their go-to place (Mexican restaurant Don Antonio's) for their very first onscreen date. But at the time, the Malibu king was also wooing the Colorado native's pal, Audrina Patridge.

Unsurprisingly, things got a wee bit awkward when he opted to take 'Drina to a club -- right in front of Heids. Bad boy!

The pregnancy scare heard 'round the world

Heidi certainly freaked her boyfriend out when she said she might be avec child. While she knew the entire time that she didn't have a bun in the oven, the publicity associate tested her beau's loyalty -- and SHOCKER, it worked. He sweetly assured her that it was her decision to make, and her mission to scare the s**t out of him was a verifiable success. Even though Spencer wasn't too pleased with Heidi's tactics, the ordeal proved he would be there through thick and thin.

The roommate scheme

Spencer capitalized on Heidi's deteriorating friendship with her longtime buddy Lauren Conrad by using it to lure his lady love to move in with him. Heidi ultimately chose her man over her BFF, officially sealing the girls' fate as frenemies.

Side note: Who could forget that loud "Hollywood" graffiti design in Spencer and Heidi's abode?

Unfortunately, the art fell prey to a coat of paint, but we think it's almost as memorable as the Mona Lisa.

The ladies' night that went horribly awry

If you want to make a woman jealous during her girls' night out in Tinseltown -- during a "relationship vacation," no less -- unexpectedly show up and buy a rando group of ladies a round of bevvies. And that's exactly what the pot-stirring Spence did to Heidi. Her reaction above was one for the books, but she still managed to live it up with Audrina and her future sis-in-law Stephanie Pratt.

The proposals...all THREE of them

First, there was Spencer declaring he wanted to spend forever with "the love of his life," as Heidi did her best to hold back tears.

And, of course, there was the picturesque embrace on the beach while admiring the bling on her finger.

Then, tequila flowed during their Mexican getaway and Spence proposed that he and Heidi say "I do" right there in the sand. Speidi ultimately used their better judgement and decided to wait, thus leading to...

Third time's a charm or, as Spence phrased it, "for real." Even though Heids was a bit nervous being stuck at the top of a Ferris wheel (can't say we blame her), she accepted Spencer's heartfelt proposal -- but insisted that he needed to make peace with her mom...and Lauren.

The dream wedding(s)

Sure, they may have opted for a "secret Mexico wedding" -- and almost became Mr. and Mrs. Pratt at an impromptu courthouse ceremony -- but there's no denying that Speidi's fairytale nuptials will live in infamy. The blushing bride in her puffy gown, her pre-ceremony hug with Lauren and K-Cav catching the bouquet all made it an affair to remember. And let's not forget about Lauren's emotional "Hills" exit...

The crystals

Like all marriages, Speidi have had their fair share of rocky moments, but Spencer's crystals quite possibly saved their union from near destruction. Hopefully he packed a few for their stay at "Marriage Boot Camp"!
