Nathan may be headed to prison for his 30-day sentence, but he's already planning for his future.

In the "Teen Mom 2" bonus scene below, he and Jenelle visit friends for a cookout, where Nathan's upcoming stay behind bars becomes the main topic of conversation.

"It's like I told Jenelle -- I'd rather spend thirty days in the hardest prison than eight months in a combat zone," Nathan tells his buddy Norm as they toss a football.

"Just keep your head up -- that's all you can do," Norm advises.

And he certainly is. Nathan then talks about his plans post-prison: He wants to complete his education and then pursue a brand-new occupation.
